What does a power tool do?
Power tools are mainly rotary cutting, and also have an impact mechanism that relies on the operator's thrust to generate impact force. Power tools are used for drilling holes in materials such as bricks, blocks and lightweight walls.
Power tools are generally made into an adjustable structure. When adjusted in the rotating non-impact position, the ordinary twist drill bit can be installed to drill holes in metal; when adjusted in the rotating belt impact position, the drill bit inlaid with cemented carbide can be installed, which can be used on brittle materials such as masonry and concrete. drilling.
The use of power tools can greatly improve work efficiency, and it has been widely used in indoor wiring and other work.
How to use power tools correctly?
(1) Trial operation before operation. The electric tool should be tested for 30-60s before operation, and the running sound should be uniform without abnormal noise during no-load operation. Adjust the adjusting ring to the impact position, put the drill bit on the hardwood, there should be an obvious and strong impact; adjust the adjusting ring to the drilling position, there should be no impact phenomenon.
(2) The impact force of the power tool is generated by the operator's axial feed pressure, which is different from the operation of the electric hammer; the axial feed pressure should be moderate and not too large. If it is too large, it will aggravate the wear of the power tool and affect its service life, and if it is too small, it will affect the work efficiency.
(3) When drilling a deep hole with a power tool, when drilling to a certain depth, the drill bit should be repeatedly advanced and retreated several times to remove drilling chips, which can reduce the wear of the drill bit, improve the drilling efficiency, and prolong the service life of the power tool.
