1. Manual feed circular saw machine
The workpiece is placed on the workbench, close to the reference plane of the guide bar, and the workpiece is pushed to the circular saw blade with the push plate for sawing. This type of machine tool can perform longitudinal processing, horizontal processing, and can also be rotated at an angle for processing, so it is called a multifunctional circular saw machine. Because it is manually fed and has a simple structure, it is generally used in small workshops or auxiliary workshops.
2. Mechanical feed circular saw machine
Mechanically fed circular saws are used for longitudinal sawing of panels and beams. According to the different feeding mechanisms of mechanical feeding, it can be divided into two types: roller feeding and crawler feeding. The structure of the drum feed mechanism is relatively simple and has a high feed speed, but the machining accuracy is much worse than that of the crawler feed mechanism.
(1) Drum-feed circular saw machine: The picture above shows a drum-feed longitudinal sawing machine. For longitudinal sawing of unedged boards, battens and panels. The machine tool consists of a bed, a saw shaft with a saw blade, a worktable, and a feed mechanism. The feeding mechanism consists of a lower roller located in front of the saw blade and a lower roller behind the saw blade. The roller is placed under the workbench, and its upper surface is slightly higher than the workbench. Two swing rods are arranged on the upper bed of the machine tool, and front teeth and rear grooved rollers are installed at the ends of the swing rods.
(2) Crawler feed circular saw machine: The drum feed mechanism requires greater pressure. Due to the small contact surface between the sub-roller and the workpiece, local damage will occur in the contact area between the workpiece and the roller. Therefore, sandals-conveyor belt feeding mechanism is widely used in wood processing to increase the contact surface area. Their knot grooves vary according to the number of saw blades and where they are installed. The picture shows the schematic diagram of the upper shaft type single saw blade crawler feed circular saw machine, and the feed crawler is provided with longitudinal grooves.
2. Multi-blade circular saw machine
The circular saw machine is composed of a tool holder, a pinch roller, a feed roller, and a feed track located at the lower part of the machine tool. The cantilever saw shaft is installed in the rolling bearing of the pendulum, and the pendulum can rotate around the axis. Turning the hand wheel through the bevel gear pair, the screw rod and the nut can make the pendulum swing, thereby changing the position of the saw blade. Since the saw shaft can move its position, saw blades with a diameter of 250 to 360 mm can be used on the machine tool, and the saw shaft is driven by a motor through a V-belt drive. Its rotating speed is 3000r/min. Belt tensioning is achieved by means of a handwheel via a screw and nut. The brake is used for braking the saw shaft and is installed on the other output shaft of the transmission motor.
10 saw blades can be mounted on the saw shaft arbor. The distance between the saw blades is guaranteed by a fixed thickness ring, and the saw blades are clamped along the axis with nuts. The mounting and sharpening of the saw blade on the arbor takes place in the sharpening room. This improves sawing quality and reduces tool change times. The mandrel is fastened on the machine tool spindle by a special nut.
The conveyor chain is the reference element of the feed mechanism. Its width is 30mm. A chain is made up of links. The chain links are connected to each other by small shafts with small rollers at the ends. The chain moves along the linear guide rail before and after the saw blade, and the chain moves along the guide rail curved according to the radial direction of the saw blade in the cutting area of the saw blade. At this time, the small roller of the chain enters the curved guide rail, and the track sinks under the saw blade. This structure is convenient for the saw blade to be installed at any position on the saw shaft.
According to the thickness of the workpiece, the roller and the non-return plate can be raised and lowered by the motor. The motor is driven by a reducer and a chain drive to lift the shaft. As the shaft turns, the sleeve moves in a clockwise direction, with the threaded shaft section underneath. The sleeve and lever system are hinged with the roller and the non-reverse pawl.
